Nah, not really... but good he's gone, the whole point of a forum is you add to the general well being/well running, information exchange and "Good" old banter, he did neither IMHO.

His whole purpose for being here seemed to be to make trouble. All in all, I think the noodles award should go to Joey Zyla as a parting gift.

Whilst not disagreeing with the decision to ban, I think it is a shame Joey Zyla has gone before learning something important from our community.

I absolutely believe his stated age of 13 and think it possible that new experiences with other points of view lead him to resent and react to the slightest difference of opinion. It is also possible that at such a tender age, he has little or no idea of cultural differences in the use of the English language, especially with unfamiliar wit; 'tongue-in-cheek'; and sarcasm. This is particularly likely if he lives in an isolated region in the USA; and especially if – as is often the case in such places – his local community lends a 'righteous' emphasis to life through a rather zealous approach to religion. As yet, and entirely consistent with such piety, it seems he has scant understanding of the concept of tolerance. Well seriously, that's a shame. He's missed an opportunity to learn something of it here.

It is also unfortunate that he has not yet learned one of the most important lessons in life. It is the basic etiquette when meeting new people: first, set out to make friends!

We can only hope for the sake of those he meets, that he has no access to firearms to defend his fledgling principles!

I agree with your comments there Cosi, And this F1 forum has been very lenient in the past and given advice and 2nd chances to people to improve themselves But this guy was given a 2nd chace to right his wrongs from what led to his original ban along with a PM from BLS and decided to continue to disrupt.

Also cultural differences are no excuse for offensive behavior towards others. In fact it was clearly a huge cry for attention which spreaded further than our F1 board. Manny provided some evidence from the chat box which contained some words that deserved no place on any forum. So I guess It was ultimatly decided JZ... deseved no place on this forum.

Didn't see the comment. Doesn't matter though, glad he's gone. Didn't like him from the beginning. Even if he really was 13, he stills gives Americans (like me!) on here a bad name with the constant disliking and negative comments.

Nailed it. For someone who was from Oregon he did seem awfully intolerant, didn't he?

As someone who is a firm believer in having guns - but also fully understanding them and being safe with them - I laughed when I saw that! I don't want any crazies getting a hold of guns either! <laugh>

<laugh> I always thought Oregon was medicinal dope smoking, liberal hand-wringing, neo-hippy central. Just shows how wrong you can be with stereotypes.
