I used to enjoy Subterranea, from what I can remember of it anyway.

I used to go out with a girl from Kensal Town who I'd go to Carnival with. Best street party ever.

Used to go to a one day similar thing in Catford. Last time I went there in around 2013 and the police presence was HEAVY. Metal detectors on the gates to parks and tooled up coppers everywhere.

    Never went to Subterranea.

I was a proper indie kid. Used to go to Town & Country club, ULU and some student union gigs in west London

New Fads and Wedding Present days.

I still know a few really good spots at carnival where you can easily avoid any drama, but I remember the KCC stand from back in the noughtys and walking through that if no one knew you from the ends was like that board game where people poke swords into the pirate in a barrel, forget what it was called.

Kcc didn't last long , about 4 carnivals before it was shut down as it only got worse cos the reputation of it and the area in general at the time had crossed the river and you had groups of hundreds (south London goons) coming in smaller groups then meeting up and coming to stab people basically... Nothing else.

Good Times, used to make a solid change every carnival, like an money making expo for the local ****s it is <laugh>

Milk Bar was better in those days.

Was into a bit of everything, you get anything in Manchester and at the time I had mates at UCL so was down there quite a bit.

Was going to go for a run and do some skipping but pretty much blacked out in the back garden yesterday after chopping all that wood, so that will have to do for this weekend!

My legs are feeling it mind so it must have been a workout of sorts. **** me, I feel battered, was a dodgy day yesterday!

Little bike ride down the front with my middle 'un in a bit for some churros. That'll be it for today.
