Chocolate is a killer for me too. Fortunately its crap here but Mrs arrives tomorrow and will have loads of English bars with her - find easiest thing to do is just finish them all as quickly as possible and then get back to the healthy eating!

Getting going again next week after pretty much two weeks off with some bug or other.
Will hit it Monday and hopefully get back into it. Gym Monday & Tuesday and I've got some squash lined up Wednesday Thursday.

If the weather picks up week after might even get outside running or on me bike. Might.

Off for some snow golf this afternoon.

Anyone seen that Pay as Ugym advert?

The bloke has a face I'd like to repeatedly hit with a cricket bat.

I have two gym memberships and I've been out with a double illness and a now a trapped nerve in my back.

What makes it a 10x worse is when I'm not fit to go to the gym or run etc then I become very friendly with McDonalds staff among other fast food establishments.

And buy all the **** from Tesco.

I’ve had lower back problems since I had a prolapsed disc a few years ago. It also brought on sciatica. It’s intensely irritating when it flares up.

I still haven't figured out why you left Thailand ffs

This fitness malarky is literally a pain.
Played football on Thursday and played well and more confident than when I started. Been nursing my knee since. Can't bend it and can't get up off the floor ffs

    First point was economy...

The sun and heat is a massive boost, for aching bodies

The second, i just crack on, take some tablets if i feel achy, and work through it. I lift literally 1000s of kilos a day. I just plough through it, probably the wrong way to go about it.

Tbh with you if the pay is right I prefer that type of work myself.

Office based work is a mind **** the higher up you go in my experience

Yeah, that's what messed me up. Used to be very active then work was all office based and then started to get injured

Little things like driving to play football after work instead of walking down make a difference

The last job was lighter but much faster, and did about 10 miles a day approx. I couldnt do office work.

Do lots of core strengthening exercises.

I had problems with C5, C6 and lower back until I strengthened that area.

Now it is fine and those areas do not fatigue when I am running, using a Mac, etc
