I've got a four year old daughter and a 76 year old father with dementia. Both are prone to wandering off in opposite directions ....
I've been laid up with the ****ty bug and horrible flu like cold. Also had to take my bike into the shop for some work. So nothing for me. Will get back on it next week.
I feel your pain bruv. I know this isn't actual flu I've got, but it's one ****ing monstrous cold. Snot, sweat, and misery.
Spent all last week hurtling down slopes in a generally uncontrolled manner and then go and pull a groin playing squash first day back. Was too busy worrying about knees and how they felt to realise I'd tweaked the bastard. Supposed to be playing tomorrow too, doubt I will though. Too bloody cold. Will likely go the gym instead.
Going to plough on with squash match tonight, despite the pulled groin. What could possibly go wrong?
After two months of various colds and viruses I’ve started to feel healthy enough to start running again. Been on the treadmill for a 5k for the past four days in a row, will endeavour to see the week out. Can’t shake this fecking cough though.
Felt broken yesterday after two squash matches on the bounce, everything aches. Some residual pain from the week away too but it proper batters all your joints and back. Will try the gym tonight though, seeing as I'm stuck here. Got **** all else to do bar that or go the pub!
