Yeah it's hard slog, but I quite like it. Makes you have a word with yourself and push your limits. There's something about being out up on the moors in the very worst conditions that's pretty satisfying. Knowing that most people will just **** it off and stay at home. I dunno, maybe there's a bit of a masochist in me lol. And yeah, I've always got my mobile on me so the missus can use find the my iphone app just in case.
This place packed tonight. At five o'clock clock for ****s sake. Maybe people listening to how it's blue Monday and are changing their lives. Just hope they change it back again. Wouldn't mind if it was all decent fanny but it's not, far from it. Anyway, loads of bench tonight, **** it.
Been riding up here (down that gully) today. Really tough technical ride with big boulders, drop offs and thick slop underneath. Thought I was going OTB and got ready to bail, but managed to bring her in like a mofo before I smashed my teeth out on a granite Boulder. 13 miles up on the moors today. Tough going.
Another 8 miles on the bike today. Bit of sunshine has dried the mud and slop up a bit Looks more like thick brown gravy now, than sloppy runny diarrhea
Gysm tonight. Feel ****ed after a very sleepless night in a childs bed last night, but will force myself to go again. Once there, I'll get proper into it. Will need to find a new one when I move to new project. Bit gutted as I like this one I go to now. On the plus side though, I get to go more than twice a week as I'll be stuck up there all week (which is the negative side). Cased some of the options and the local leisure centre has squash courts. Hopefully there's a ladder and I can get a game once a week. Even though my knee says I shouldn't.
I'm glad that many people have started to pay more attention to their health in recent years. My husband used to eat very poorly and not exercise. After we started living together, I taught him to exercise in the morning and eat right. After a month, he decided to join a gym; I was delighted with this news. I decided to give him to gain muscle mass. Within a few months, my husband looked much sexier. My girlfriends are now envious of me.
