@Chief Innov8 after about three months. New Balance after a month. Don't ever buy nb trail runners, comfy as but the uppers are made from rice paper. My current pair goretex saucony iso after 4 months of winter wear. Spot the difference?
Just posted on the threads thread. But I simply wouldn’t bother with anything unless it’s gore tex. The uppers on non waterproof shoes just rot away in any sort of wet and muddy weather. Useless unless you’re running in Southern California.
Saucony make excellent trainers, can't lie. Got four pairs, one pair are on my feet right now and my on road runners are Saucony. Only reason I more or less ruled out these for trail are the current ones are black. All Black trainers look wrong on my feet.
Nice 6k amble along the beach this morning. I'm getting better at this ****, the key was slowing the **** down first mile instead of trying to go at too quick a pace. Warm up properly and the shins are fine. Aim to do three of these a week and then when the weather is better go on trail and for further. Little bike ride with the nippers this afternoon.
Was a nice weekend for it, so ended the week riding indoors. Mates dad took his own life last Jan, so had a ride out to local spot where he did it with him and had a beer. Not my favourite ride, didn’t feel I should Strava that. Just 16 miles short of my 100 a week target this week. But done lots of climbing so happy with the mix
Looking at getting one of these. Waterproof onesie for biking. I've got a waterproof shell that I use, but to be honest it's only really splash proof and although the shorts have got a water repellent, they just don't cut it in the really wet stuff. It's £215 so it's not cheap, but I reckon it's just what I need tbh. please log in to view this image
Yeah it's expensive, but it's fully waterproof and breathable. Was looking at separates and you can pay £100 just for a pair of waterproof shorts, whilst jackets are crazy expensive. I like the idea of an all in one too so that mud and crap can't get in over the back of my shorts. (unless I **** myself of course)
nothing is breathable. Prefer separates/layers as you can keep cool. But get the idea for mountain biking/keeping c
I'm still running in a couple of pairs of Nikes that are quite a few years old, some model of flyknit lunar and flyknit racer, used them in the gym a lot when you used to be able to go in a gym and they've held up pretty well. I've got some Adidas Ultra Boost that I walk a lot in and those are some of the comfiest trainers I've had
