How arrogant is he to think he should just walk into the team when they've got McAuley and Evans clearly ahead of him in the pecking order?

He couldn't be less arrogant if he tried he's a very unassuming lad . Maybe you should think what kind of manager buys a player to constantly play him out of position . We as Hull fans know the lads ability at CB and he is clearly frustrated at his lack of chances in his best position

The Chester fanboys on here are completely delusional, he was turgid for large parts of last season.

What makes him think he should just waltz into a solid Premier League side?

If he was good enough he'd be playing but all he's done is show himself up in the few appearances he's made so far, carrying on his form from last season infact.

The responses on here only reaffirm why this board is known as the happy clappers forum.

Grown men who idolize a player who couldn't wait to leave the sinking ship.

It's all rather tragic.

The bit I don't understand is that he was told he was being signed as a RB! He then says he's not bothered as long as he's in the PL. Fair enough!
Then he goes on to say he hasn't done much work in that position?
The whole thing doesn't make any sense to me!

I think his point is he was happy to play anywhere as long as he was playing. But he isn't playing, and hasn't been given a chance to develop in that position.

Looks like a case of Pulis spunking £8mill on him as a right back, playing him once and not fancying what he saw; Pulis obviously rates his two main centre backs higher than Chester so it's bench warming duties till he gets his chance ....... note to Chezzer, suck it up mate.

And it's not about being a 'fanboy'. Anyone with half a brain and a modicum of interest in football knows Chester is their best centre back.

Hmmm, Tony Pulis has more than 40 years in the professional game, 20 odd of them as manager - I would think he has at least half a brain, and I'd bet he has more than a modicum of interest in football, HE certainly doesn't think Chester is their best centre back, or right back, and at West Brom, what he thinks counts.

Dunno. Probably the fact a bang average mid-table Premier League team shelled £8 million for him. It's not his fault Pulis is playing him out of position when he gets the rare opportunity to play.

Pulls likes cloggers who leave something on their opponents most the time. A ball playing classy centre back like Chester isn't his cup of tea. Which is why I was amazed he bought him in the first place
