I don't get this. In what way is he not ready for the PL? That's just a typical City fan post, if he was a TWS player their fans would make out he was England standard and we would laugh at them but it's better than playing down the quality of all your players like we like to do. Chester is as good as anyone in this division and his tackling is better than most PL defenders, he gets it pretty much perfect every time. The thing that worries me though is that whilst he might have ben going unnoticed until now, he'll be right under the spotlight with this story. Everton certainly don't.
I doubt we'll still have Chester come February. I wouldn't be surprised if we had a couple of Premier League clubs bidding £3m and upwards for him.
You'd think after spending around £32m on Vermaelen, Koscielny, Mertesacker, Djourou and Squillaci, they'd be content at CB. It's just a shame three of those are about as error prone as Zayatte.
Arsenal buy new centre backs every year, everyone says they should go for Gary Cahill but Wenger instead spends millions on some unknown one from the French League who turns out to be **** and scores comical own goals, they fail to compete in the title race because of their awful CBs and the cycle restarts.
Rich chats and responds more than anyone else I've seen on twitter, if he's chosen to ignore you, I'd say he's showing good judgement.
