If we are going to get out of this hole, then we must put these sort of games to bed. Particularly when we have done the hard work and held a two goal cushion.

We created lots of chances and scored a couple of goals, which is great. And I'm sure the new signings will make a big difference. Blissett will get on the end of a few things and hopefully get better...

Hopefully this is the start of better things to come...

    Bring on Barnet...

DC showed his naivety today. It's good to pick an attacking formation but to then not
have one defender on the bench meant that he was unable to shore up the midfield
when the game was turning against us. Also there would have been little he could do if
a defender was sent off or injured.

i think if a CB got injured he would have gone 3 at the back or moved lockyer into CB and moved sinclair from CM into RB which he has done before. then clarke fill the gap in CM.
if either full back got injured then sinclair would fall back and cover like above and clarke go into CM. I can see why DC did this as this allows him to have more game changers on the bench to chase a game. however, if sinclair got injured and a defender then we would have been screwed. and having no spare keeper on the bench could have been disasterous if something happened to mildenhall.

shocking. the amount of chances we had and they were all very poor finishing. very poor indeed. and the goals we conceded, well it was shambolic.

Blissett took his goal really well and their keeper made a cracking save when we were already two up. Their second goal was a complete flook. I think we were unlucky not to win this one.
