Pretty lame performance in the end after a good start. Luckily Chelsea are just as poor.

Fair result. Obvious weaknesses. Second half we really faded until doak and Nunez came on for us and James and chilwell went off for them.

Thought would be 2-2 so will take a 1-1 away to chelsea first game.

Both teams looked more.professional in the second half. Shame we didn't take better advantage in the first 30 minutes when Chelsea looked absolutely amateurish. (But very lucky we didn't concede more in the 15 minutes after that when we looked amateurish).

Neither team should really be happy with today... but could have been worse.

 

I'll settle for that seeing as we were outplayed for the last part of the first half and most of the second.

The Good:
Mac and Dom look good, but need a DM to allow them to do what they need to.
Elliott and Jones came on and looked full of confidence
Konate and VvD looked decent, just need protection

The Bad:
Without a DM we're too open and not holding possession.
Forwards look unfit
Robertson was overrun and needs more help.

Like I said pretty much the same as last season.
