    Out of contract midfielder Dan Gosling looks to have played his last game for Newcastle, with his agent claiming that a deal is in place for the player to join Bournemouth - subject to passing a medical.

    Claims of interest in the former England U21 international by the Cherries were first reported back in April, after Gosling looked to have proved his fitness by playing a string of first team games for the Magpies.

    A departure for the 24 year-old Devonian seemed likely last August when the terms of a deal for him to join Crystal Palace were put in place, only to break down in farcical circumstances when Gosling travelled to meet Eagles representatives - and nobody turned up.

    Another not so well organised club.

    Dan Gosling isn't good enough to play in the Championship.

    He looked decent at Everton, but yet again we sign a decent looking player and make them fail to live up to their potential!

    Either our coaching/nurturing of young players is awful or we are easily duped and look for the wrong qualities.

    <laugh>

    He has signed a 4-year deal with Bournemouth!

    I guess he realises when he's on to a good thing. :)
