There was a guy in fm2001 that was from south America who used to get sent off all the time but bossed midfield

    Can't think of name.

Has anyone ever gone for lowest league possible then worked up?

I did and I tried to sign any lfc youth released and they all would retire than sign.

    Nuts eh?

I ended up winning the league cup with them and championship then lfc offered me the job.

I hate how fm has over complicated sone aspects and shied away from the more "dodgy" parts like press which ends up terribly repetitive.

  3. Once got Stags to the Championship and Boro offered me a job. They were in same division but about 7th/8th with roughly ten games to go whilst I was fighting relegation so I took it. Got promoted (expected) butwas gobsmacked when come the summer, Ronaldo (true fat Brazilian version) joined on a Bosman that I no knowledge of <laugh>

I'd already signed Carl Cort though so they had to alternate. Won me the PL though ;)

  4. Far too complicated nowadays. No longer a quick five minutes here and there.
