I knew we had not lost to Cheltenham since 2007 but i only predicted a draw at best, I never expected this, which really now puts us back in the chase.

Annoying that Crawley are 3-2 up, wanted them to lose, would have been good for us. So happy with Gillingham, we have done so well today.

All over, Brilliant win, clean sheet aswell which just adds to the joy, so happy of this team, Obita is brilliant and I have been so happy with Whelpdale of late, he is showing what we wanted of him and is now the player that we had on loan last season,

A very important win for the Gills today, when most of the other teams were also taking points, with the exception of Shrewsbury who slipped up against Plymouth.

Brilliant result, and needed looking the way the other results have gone. Our 2-0 win over Torquay is looking significant. Pity about Crawley getting back into the game and winning....but hey we've got another World Cup Final coming up against them next. Another 'double' would be sooooo nice.
Yep....it's done our goal difference a power of good.

Considering the injuries and suspensions, to win 3-0 at Cheltenham has to rank as our best performance of the season. A clean sheet is the icing on the cake.

More defensive displays like today will see the Gills go up. We have a big opportunity to catch the Creepies on Tuesday. They have been greatly weakened since January and are perhaps our #1 target to overtake into the playoffs. This really is our World Cup Final ;)

fantastic result today for us gills. like you brb, i was not happy to see fish and oli in the starting eleven, but was more than happy to be proved wrong.
that has to be fish's best game for us (though thats not hard to improve on), just think alot of our players are starting to click into gear now i.e. c.lee, whelpdale, gazza, essam, king, payne, keds, tomlin, obita and o.lee if today is anything to go by...not forgetting jackman for the whole season!

lets hope we don't throw it away tuesday vs crawley, especially as they now have gary alexander, leon clarke & billy clarke up top for them...hard task to get 3pts from them for sure...lets hope we wipe that smug grin off evans fat face and get a few more fans in that back the team, whilst helping them raise there game!

    UTG!!!!! <ok>

I do not know what it is with League Two this season but even losing the Crewe game, I have a really good feeling about our chances at the moment. The nearest team that can catch us apart from Crewe is seven points or three games away and have played a game more (except Aldershot). It can only be ours to throw away.

The crunch although I would love to rub Evans up the wrong way is not going to come Tuesday but I believe possibly against Oxford on the 14th April, I've been thinking a head for this game and the possibility of sorting any subsequent arrangements to go. Will be keeping a close eye on the situation over the coming weeks.

But before then we have a World Cup Tuesday game to sort out.
