Bloody hell! Sounds like the spirit last Friday at the Mem has been transplanted to Whaddon - we just won't give up! Brilliant stuff! That's 4 wins, 2 draws and a single defeat since JW took over. If we can replicate that form and more importantly, spirit, for the rest of this season and then carry it into next, we will be going up next year.
We had similar feelings about last season mate and ended up ****. I think Ward is better than that though, but wont get carried away until I see this spirit next season. Just wished we had a few more games to go this season and a little less to catch up on as i really think with this form, we would have made the play offs this season!
Don't get carried away Blue...you thought the same this season. Must admit though JW's doing a great job for your lot!!
I did say 'if'! After watching us against Barnet where we just kept on going and again doing something similar tonight, I firmly believe that the difference between MM's Gas revival last season and JW's now is spirit and togetherness. That is worth so much to a club like Rovers - JW clearly has a passion for the club and infuses that into those around him.
our final 12 games should really help us avoid the drop as we have 7 of them at home. just 1 game at a time.
even if we beat oxford we dont move up a position. however what will happen is close the gap and allow us to pull away from the drop. we are doing ok.
More bollocks from Cheltenham fans I ****ing hate the ****ers http://www.robinsnestforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=12530&sid=71aef87ce469a435833d4edbf18b81a0
sounds very bitter about tonight. sound like they have a chip on their shoulder. its like city fans saying their bigger than man utd
I mean 4500 for a team who are 3rd in the league we didn't here a peep out of there fans and they think ours are quiet.
we said yesterday to make this the best match thread so far for us and i think we all should be happy with this. can the oxford thread be better???
Evening weekday threads tend to be better - I can't justify being in front of my laptop for 2 + hours on a Saturday afternoon when I have 6, 4 and 2 year-old boys to entertain. I get enough grief from Mrs Baldee as it is when I go down the Mem!
as my wife is disabled, and we have a 4 year old and a 2 year old, im banned from away games as i work monday - friday and then disappear on a saturday leaving early to travel away and get home late, its not fair on her so she said i can still do the home games as its only a few hours bit away games are an all day thing. i fully agreed with her but i didnt tell her that of course. i said i want to compromise. i said i will want to listen to the game instead on the radio. she agreed so at 3pm i have the radio on for the rovers coverage and laptop on with the match thread and soccer saturday on another tab on my laptop keeping updated with other scores. i have the kids as well but i put on their favourite films and they are silent
