My opening gambit in that thread was spot on. Shame I backed Rule The World rather than the other unexposed one

I hope you know where Barney lives and will avoid the high street like the plague!

Off to Cheltenham tomorrow - pint and breakfast at 9am and onwards and upwards from there I hope.:-
    Selections:-

    Tiger Roll
    Cheltenian
    Deputy Dan
(really like this horse and he has a great attitude)
Last Instalment (looks a monster of a horse and Im certain he will run. Its likely to be similar to today weather wise - misty etc so I reckon they will give the ok. Plus i cant resist a saver on Teaforthree (my fave horse). He could show a few of them how to jump.

Caid Du Berlais (yes Nicholls will have a winner)
    Eastlake

    All each way.

If Kings Palace has beaten nowt then Briars Hill has beaten ****ING NOWT. He won a 3 runner Grade 2 last time from Apache Jack (winner of 2 of his 9 races to date) and Very Wood (rated 135). Before that he won a 2 runner Grade 1 from Azorian who was beaten 88 lengths by Vautour in the Deloitte <laugh> His form is rank with a capital "W". Even the form of last year's champion bumper doesn't look useful at all - Regal Encore flopped in the Imperial Cup when apparrently "thrown in", Golantilla beaten out of sight again yesterday, The Liquidator thrashed in the Supreme. Vautour and Faugheen brought some decent form to the table, but all Briars Hill brings are those fecking awful Wylie silks.

He doesn't look visually impressive at all and I reckon he'll get beat tomorrow. Bobs worth more likely to win out of these 2 hot favourites for me. Last Instalment looks frightening and looks like Denman so I'm opposing. I 'm just getting excited about seeing Teaforthree to be honest...

Looking forward to it Bob - the Albert Bartlett is becoming one of my favourite races of the festival. Best of luck mate and may the best horse win (and all come back safe and sound)

Silviniaco Conti for me in the GC (@ 7/2 with PP). Not much of a Festival for me and will only just about break even if Conti wins....:emoticon-0101-sadsm

And yes I am pissed. Well, I imagine so; I've been sinking imaginary pints of Guinness with my imaginary winnings. I'll probably have an imaginary hangover tomorrow.

Did I imagine it or were Spurs pretty crap tonight?

    I should be more polite!

Oh s**t, sorry Dan, you already advised us earlier on the High Street run, read it too late. What time is the great sprint though?

I completely agree with this. I'm in I also agree however that Kings Palace hasn't really beaten much. Personally I just prefer the look of Kings Palace and that's the one I'll be on, especially given the current prices. How Briar Hill is 5/4 and Kings Palace 7/2 I'll never know. May the best horse win!

Tomorrow is all about one horse and thats Bob's Worth. Watching him power up that hill is a joy to behold.

It also could be all about Last Instalment and the should he or shouldnt he run view following the discovery of use of steroids . Can you imagine all the publicity if he starts and he wins... oops... We started on day one with the most eagerly anticipated race with the Fly etc and we could finish on the final day with a controversial talking point!
