    Ok!!! My selections

Dynaste - best novice chaser around over a staying/mid trip. Should prove too good.
Bouggler/American Trilogy - Both are thought to be yards second strings, I am not sure on that.
First Lieutenant - I really like his form behind Bob's Worth, and I think this race is perfect for him. Cue Card hopefully will set it up for him
Solwhit - class horse in race. Not too confident here
Tartak - One I have been waiting on for so long, got 25s last night, and will go in again at the course. Perfect conditions and so well weighted.
Romanesco - I think this is the perfect race for him and Nina was in good form yesterday. Big price.
Boston's Angel - Class horse on a good handicap mark.

    Boom or bust? Quite probably!

James goes to France to ride quite frequently doesn't he. Interesting runner. I wouldn't put too much faith in the weight issue though. I'm sure every jockey would do anything to have a ride at Cheltenham.

For my pennies Dynaste is no good thing. The Irish mid to long distance form was proven yesterday to be streets ahead of the English. For that reason alone Texas Jack and Aupcharlie rate as far better bets in my eyes.

The form of the Moriarty Chase is working out superbly - Boston Bob fell at the last with the RSA at his mercy, Lord Windemere went on to win it and Lyreen Legend 2nd so you have to say that is top class form BUT the race was run on soft/heavy and the other 3 all stepped up to 3 miles in yesterday's race, so for me that leaves Texas Jack potentially vulnerable to a speed horse over 2m5f. Dynaste has obvious claims and has a real turn of foot, but I just worry about the 78 day absence and am still very sweet on the chances of Module each way at 12/1. He came up the Cheltenham hill in eye-catching style over hurdles at the beginning of last year, taking a decent looking class 2 handicap hurdle from some nice types including Hinterland and, despite his 2 chase victories coming on heavy this winter, I think he will really enjoy the better conditions today.

Hello all - real life gets in the way of forum posting, but back from Chelts now and hoping for better things (but not expecting them!)

Two great days at the Festival, but very cold, and Tuesday was rammed. It seems you either stand at the bar and ignore the racing, or forget getting boozed up and concentrate on the horses! I should have chosen the first option <doh> My bankers turned out to be cockney rhyming slang <laugh>

    Todays picks as follows:
Dynaste of course. Although I'm a fan of Captain Conan, I can't see him beating the fav today
Sam Winner - ludicrously well handicapped, and if form means anything then he should take this
Riverside Theatre: I couldn't decide so went with a sentimental bet on a horse who won for me last year.
Wonderful Charm: got on after seeing PN's preview. Have also taking a 40-1 ew on Oscara Dara. Hendo's second string, he won the Lanzarote well, but his follow up race was so bad there must surely have been something wrong.
Ballynagour in the Byrne: I'd backed this in three other races NRNB, so he HAS to win this one!
Vesper Bell: very wary of Super Duty, but Mullins has his string in great form, and at 16-1 a good ew prospect.
And in the X-country if it goes Leac An Scail at 25-1 ew. On paper has the beating of quite a few of these. Shame they run on grass!

And a big shout out to some lovely people I met over the past two days - I'll preserve their real names, but you will know them as Joe Lively, Heis, Brough Tiger and Nass. Have a great day lads <ok>

KATTANGA KATTANGA ALL YOU GOOD GOOD PEOPLE
i would like to say first of all-------excellenteee selecting to TOPCLASS on LORD WINDERMERE---well done young amigo

i must say its difficult concentrating on the horse racing from my new base in the costa del sol,i am currently stuck in a starshaped position looking at my paper pinned to the cieling after over dosing on the old spiced rums with my brother CHIEF VAMBO.
today is a white envelope day,not brown, due to some weasel faced greek blokie cornering the market of brown envelopes and hand puppets.

the white envelope is going on SOLWHIT in the world hurdle, ive had it on the old jungle drums that as soon as BB was out for the season, this one has had only one goal.
GOOD LUCK TO ALL---SAFE RACING TO ALL PARTICIPANTS AT CHELTS--MAN WOMAN AND BEASTS

I was very sweet on the chances of bog warrior in the world, in fact i rated him as my nap of the festival, but im now worried that the ground may have gone against him. If he handles the better ground then i think he is definitely the one for this however now im not so sure. I think oscar whisky can reverse the placings with reve de sivola and ill take him to win if bog warrior doesnt fire.

    Other bets:

    Dynaste win, Argocat e/w
    Jetson e/w
First Lieutenant win, albertas run e/w (never runs a bad race and can see him making the frame if not being good enough to win)
    Ballynagour, Cantlow e/w
Bostons Angel in the cross country

Nice to meet you yesterday Reebok! Hope you have a bit better luck today!

Have a good day all <ok>

I have to admit that TARTAK made my short list of three but was eliminated at the final declarations stage for DIVERS but think he has really strong place claims. Good luck NASS <ok>

Gosh, Oddy, didn't realise you were so posh! Spanish Reds can be very good, also some of the best red wine I have ever tasted are the South African ones. If you hit the right ones, they are really superb.

    <somersault> Chief,Oddy.

    Class act.

He was guest compere at an Astra Zeneca meeting I was at in Manchester a couple of years ago and was so blue the conference team cut him short in the interest of corporate governance and political correctness.

He hung round for a few drinks and had a driver/minder with him...nobody there under 30 knew who the f*** he was so he had to put up with me for company <laugh>.

Nass: Won't be rude and ask how much you got from Wonga, but I hope they were fair and reasonable. Good luck today with your bets. So far, just two (losing) bets but still have bit left in kitty. Still searching. <ok>
