Get listening to the Final Furling podcast Wooly. I put him up earlier this week after Robbie McNamara said the only concern was whether he 'd stay.
Well done those of you on Faugheen - although odds today very skinny! Don Cossack was travelling very well I thought and then he fell. Module saved the day for me at 25/1. That ensured I was a few quid up for the day - literally a feew quid too! lol!Was gutted I didnt back Somersby as I backed him last time out at Ascot and was just put off by the fact he seems to do better going right handed but he ran a cracking race but hats off to Sire de Grugy!
She's already on the boat home Wooley. I'm not going to AT but Robbie McNamara said it was a group class on the flat. According to the best trainer of the last 30 years SC will get a chance to test that contention through the Summer.
jesus lads cheltenham brings out every tom, dick and harry who thinks they know everything about horse racing... Earlier today i got drawn into an argument I couldn't stay out of by a twat who says..and I quote: "It doesnt take a genius to work out that rubys taking a back hander this year, he's the top Jockey of all time riding horses trained by Irelands top trainer, and he's repeatly coming 4th, saving the bookies millions in payouts! Jockeys of Rubys Calibre dont make mistakes like he's making, and even if they do, they defo dont make them that feckin often" i soon put that one right... then he decided to ask who we were backing for the gold cup to which i replied without a doubt bobs worth. Again...and i sh1t you not...his reply: "yeah was thinking bobs worth but balthazar king could be a challenege"...to which i asked if he wanted to correct himself.....but oh no I got told(thinking he was putting me in my place ) that: " balthazar kings the fav. dont know if bobs worth can beat him, but hope he does" Sweet Lord I wish these people would just not bother.
