If Faugheen was a Champion Hurdle prospect I think it's possible he would stay over timber. He isn't and I can't see team Mullins wanting to aim for the Stayers Hurdle which isn't a championship race imo.

Almost foot perfect with the jumping. Bridle horse, traveled really well then had nothing up the hill.
