Not an ante post selection per se but I will be very interested in Thistlecrack if he gets into either the Coral Cup or County Hurdle off a mark of 135. Definitely a "back on the day" job though, not ante post.

Loving BELTOR in the Triumph mate. PENDRA in the handicap on day one. VIBRALTO VALTAT to take down the certainty and VALUE AT RISK in the Albert Bartlett.
I have a tasty bet at big odds on BELLSHILL in the bumper but I cant actually say I fancy it after Vigil beat him.
    yours?

I like any currency in the cross country, pipped on the line by balz king last year and won at course in december, serious chance.i really like moonracer in the bumper and have backed ante post ew.i really think the champion hurdle is a shoot out between faugheen/jezki so will be doing a reverse forecast.cant be having tno.i know someone who spoke to mullins last month and they are all over douvan, best novice they ever had, would be serious blow if it were beat.i will most likely double him up with annie power who is a shoe in if she runs in the mare.others I like are don poli, windsor park & apache stronghold.i know your a fan of var in the AB but i think martello tower has a great chance in that one.In the gold cup I think road to ritches is a stonking ew bet, conti just hates that hill! UDS is no price in the arkle so will prob avail of PP offer and back clarcam in case the beast trips up.Will also be keeping an eye out for gangster martins quick jack and ned buntline in the hcapps.will prob do what I done last year and over anaylise everything by reading every review/preview and change my mind but they would be my main fancies unless I get some serious inside info!

One race I cant make mind up is the queen mumsie.we hear 'they never come back' aka big bucks but can sprinter sacre bring the old magic back or are we expecting to much for a horse who hasnt won in nearly two years? Sire de grugy dissapointed last month and jumped badly but impressed last week when scoring at chepstow conceeding weight.however three runs in the space of a few weeks concerns me.then we move on to dodging bullets who has impressed this year but has a bad course record and nicholls has not had a winner in chases since the mighty kauto star whereas champagne fever has exceptionally course form but hasnt set the world alight this season.is there something lurking at bigger prices or have I been drinking to much beer again. I think I will be happy sitting this one out and watching the drama unfold

Ah sure its the bumper oddy, anything could win that so not diving in to deep! Was looking at the triumph this morning.i really like the look of hargam after bolting up at mussy on soft ground.ap said he should come on for better ground.i would rather back hargam ew 8/1 than peace & co.

I'm actually quite happy with my fiver e/w on Karezak at 25/1 for the Triumph. I'm not saying he'll win, but I think he's a lot tougher than some of these and the hill will hold no terrors for him - think he looks very solid for a place.

Is there any plans on the forums own preview night etc? I thought last years was excellent. Just watching some replays of last years festival and its very disappointing that the 2nd and 3rd behind Faugheen both havent run this season.
Other notes just from the replays(can tell iv had F All to do today) - Carlingford Lough did well to finish where he did considering mistakes he made. Rule the World & At Fishers Crossed travelled extremely well in the World - RTW didnt get home and AFC outclassed in the end. Im still completely baffled by the run of Bobs Worth after the final fence, was he put off by Silv Conti? He veered left badly. I was impressed by Hidden Cyclone's 2nd, i originally didnt fancy him for the trip but he ran a fine race behind Dynaste. Taquin D S jumped terribly yet still won JLT going away at the end. Would be terrible if Jonjo puts him in a handicap rather than the Ryanair where he belongs he is a >160 rated horse at the very least and would have plenty in hand for the handicap off 154 but wouldnt you rather win a championship race?

I think there would be plenty of interest, but it needs a volunteer to pull it together, Toppy and I did it last year but I just haven't got the time this year, and I suspect neither does Toppy as he isn't posting much at the moment.

If someone wants to volunteer to pull it together then I am sure we will get a decent panel together BUT it is quite a bit of work ....................

Although a big fan of the chances of Douvan I missed the boat re the prices so with that in mind I have had an each way bet on Qewy at 16/1 for the Supreme. He shaped well on debut on horrible ground before bolting up on his 2nd run over hurdles and if he takes to the course at HQ I think he may run a biggie.

Moon Racer was visually impressive at Cheltenham but I think I saw recently that the lot behind that day have amassed over 20 runs between them. None have won! Of course when they win the way he did the form of those behind is often irrelevant as he was simply in a different league but it would slightly dampen my enthusiasm. Plus he's been off the track for a fair length of time too, so you wonder have their been possibly been training issues?

Still happy enough with my Bordini bet the other week, he's getting a fair mention on the preview circuit (for what that may be worth lol) Think a few of us are on Bellshill, and I was pretty worried he mightn't even head but think now there's a decent chance, so hope lives on!

Pylonthepressure is the Mullins bumper horse for me although it's a race I seldom bet in and probably won't this year either.
