Looking at these bets Jonbon,GDM & Gala Marceau have all shortened. The two bumper runners are still entered in what looks a very open race. Jet Powered and TNG are both ruled out.
In the handicaps will be interested to see the mark for: Bad French hurdle winner who is yet to run over here for Ben Pauling Each Way @ 25-1 [Bet 365] 5 places NRNB
Ultima [Tuesday] Iron Bridge Each Way @ 16-1 [Skybet] 5 places NRNB Flagged up by me on here a couple of years ago he has not let us down, and ran a fine trial for this race when 2nd at Warwick today
I see that SkyBet now have odds re how many winners certain trainers will have at the Festival. Can't say I'm rushing out to back either Lieutenant Henderson to have 4+ (8/11) or Dan Skelton to have 3+ (3/1). Those quotes seem amazingly short to me. Willie Mullins to train more winners than Great Britain, by the way, is 5/4. Probobly about the right odds, methinks.
If you want a winner, we've had Nassalam backed into fav for the Ultima Hope you're all well! 2 weeks tomorrow, exciting times.
Like him too, hits a lot of the trends doesn't he. Our Power as well in an intended runner and I think could go well again after winning this weekend.
A risk-free madness: 99% will not run here Ballymore Landrake 50/1 e/w NRNB Bet365, WH, sky, PP, betfair and Lads, 100/1 Unibet
Re that race I see that WP Mullins has said, this morning, that he thinks Gaelic Warrior 'has the Ballymore written all over him and is going to be a big player'. Now into a best priced 9/2 at the time of writing.
Yes, I read it. No Landrake in Gordon Stable Tour, so I guess he's injured. Have to keep a close eye on him for the future. Favori De Champdou looks like going to the AB, so I'll have to go back to the drawing board to find a horse I like for the MP. Hopefully the third time's the charm, fortunately bets were NRNB.
Mares' Novices' Hurdle Lot Of Joy 8/1 NRNB win only Hunters Chase Rockys Howya 12/1 e/w NRNB PP, betfair, Lads and Coral
No I mean you seem to have bets in every race - that your plan, a bet (or even multiple bets) in every race?
I never bet more than one horse in a race, except in the Grand National, where I bet four. Two or three years ago, I can't remember, I had two bets on the same race, but that was an exception because of the odds. At Cheltenham bet on almost every race but not all of them, if there is a clear favourite I don't bet there. I had a treble with Allaho (NR), Delta Work and Energumene, but it is already in the bin. I have remade it with the last two with the addition of It's For Me. Furthermore, I have a silly bet on Vauban 12/1win only because like the odds and Constitution Hill was not running for some reason. There will probably be some races I won't bet, maybe Supreme, Triumph (I put Bo Zenith and NR) and I'm thinking what to do on NHC (I had Ballygrifincottage but NR) and Stayers (Zanahiyr, NR). Anyway, given the lack of interest in the thread and its little movement, I don't put some bets I do, for example Banbridge 20/1 e/w only mentioned after a comment made by Tamerlo. I have just put a horse in the Hunter Chase that, surely, nobody will know, because I think Ferns Lock is not going to run according to his trainer, but if he does run, he is the winner of the race for sure.
