I'm of the opinion that this year's festival is going to see many shocks and surprises, and that we will see a different festival to most years:

- Winter ground horses who have been consistent through the winter will hold sway over spring ground horses, many of whom have missed vital prep runs due to the prevalent heavy ground

- With the exception of Mullins, the traditional powerhouse yards have had a pretty meagre winter. Is this the year where the younger set make a real mark at the festival? Messrs Henderson and Nicholls do not seem to have the ammo at all this time around

- I cannot believe that camp Mullins will have the same level of success they had last year and we should be prepared to take on their horses (with the exception of Douvan who looks the banker of the festival)

Anyone with any idea in what races the following horses will be running (if they do) at Chelts ?

Champers On Ice, El Namoose, La Bague Au Roi, Lisheen Prince, Might Bite
 
I think El Namoose might be injured? Handicap entries were today so will be on sporting life / racing post tomorrow and you can search using "future entries" to see if the have any. Might Bite wasn't included in Mr Henderson's preview piece on Sporting Life so sounds like he isn't going
 
I put up RENNETI on here somewhere at 20/1 for the Coral Cup. Seems I've done me doe on him as he's not even amongst the latest entries apparently <doh>
 
****ing had a feeling that would happen with dumb **** Jonjo putting the punters away.

Saying he's a Gold Cup horse and then saying well if I can't get him there then he needs to be winning an RSA to prove himself. Absolute ****ing cobblers running him in a JLT.

But totally unsurprising at this point- ****ing joke.
 
Looking back on yesterdays Adonis. What beats Zubayr? The irish keep beating each other and only 2 i can think of this side of the sea would be Sceau Royal and Clan Des Obeaux but he looks a class apart.
 
Bryan Cooper schooled Don Poli today and Davy Russell was aboard Don Cossack for their work around Leopardstown after racing. Possibly a strong sign of where Coopers loyalty lie as of now.
