    I hadn't realised Mick Greenaway had anything to do with celery! When I stood at the Shed End I cant remember him throwing any celery then. I then moved to a season ticket seat at the front of the old "New Stand". It was only then I saw it rain celery . I got hit by a bit once!

    Celery banned at the Bridge. Brilliant! Thanks for the enlightenment lads. At one point during the game there were about ten people looking up at the flag. "Ew mate, lends us them glasses" "Nar, it cannit say that?" "Are you sure?"

    Imagine the coppers going through their briefing before a game with Millwall....... "Right lads, we're expecting trouble today. Make sure everyone is frisked for offensive weapons, knuckle dusters, flick knives, celery............" <laugh>

    Come on Sky...do you honestly believe that the emblem looks like the Shankly gates? They are both symetrical, granted, but the logo on the flag is missing a couple of key symbols from the original at Anfield, details of which wouldn't really be missed out by any true fan surely?

    If I myself catch any JCL reporting it, I'll be sure to have a quiet little chat with them in confidence. I say "quiet little chat" with a strong hint of euphemism.

    Evidence??

    We've used that logo for donkeys years on various banners and merchandise, in different variations - it's a well known symbol. If you look at our club badge it is at the top - or just google 'Shankly Gates'.

    Why embarrassing? Then why didn't they change the style of the nine? or the style of the font? or use a different picture?

    Sat next to the flag owner and his two mates who were on the train back to London. Kids of 12, 18 and 19. All doing very bad impersonations of extras from "Football Factory".
