The real problem is the players causing the grief are all on £120,000 + per week, and the owner is understandably reluctant to watch them sit in the stands smirking and laughing, or alternatively, whinging and moaning. No manager since Jose has been able to win them over because they have been allowed to become too influential off the field, but won't accept they are not influential enough ON the field. This is because no manager employed by Chelsea is given the authority to deal with the sods. Ancellotti is a top class manager, no question, and he was hamstrung from above. The only solution MUST come from the top. Personally I think Jose would demand the club got shot of them BEFORE he would agree to come back. He knows how hopeless they are now. Or at least I hope he does, because the rest of the world does. He also knows what it's like to be in conflict with the top floor.
