I agree mate, and though money can never replace him or any other, its a great gesture on the part of chelsea and all others who raise money for them, not forgetting of course the 25% that will be added from the welsh government at the end. I am from trebanos and some of my family knew them, its so sad this tragedy, I wish them all my sympathies and my thoughts are with them.
Not so sure now Yankee Rangel way out of position for their first and they cut us to shreds for the second. Ominous!!
Monk lost Torres on the first goal. Rangel was just covering across - tough play and Torres was brilliant to finish. Not so smart on tackle just now though ... So dumb
yup, straight red for a two-footed challenge with studs up. correct decision by the letter of the law, though he didnt touch the player.
Gower got clipped by Torres on the way through. Lucky it wasnt fuller contact. So next half we have figure out a way to be more direct.
chelsea fans chanting cheat at the ref at half-time. they should probably switch sports...ice-hockey perhaps?
didnt see much of that due to dodgy connection but didnt look like we created anything. with Torres off hope Brendan throws caution to the wind and goes for it- CMON SWANS!
My niece didn't think swans could fly until Torres' tackle. At least he can't be called a ghost in this match.................well maybe for the second half. What was he thinking? Can't and won't try and defend it.
Possession Chelsea 60% Swansea 40% Attempts on target Chelsea 4 Swansea 0 Attempts off target Chelsea 5 Swansea 0
As I said on another thread - Torres should have been sent off against Norwich! He rode his luck against us, good to see he did not get away with it today
Ashley back heel to team mate in own box. I'm beginning to suspect an unprofessional betting pool amonst they Chelsea players about how many back heels they do. The one who does the most wins the pot. Been an awful lot since the back heel goal in recent matches.
a tad harsh on torres IMO, still it gives us a better chance. chelsea in control though and should hang on for a win......dyer has been superb....
Swansea should be able to hunt and close down the Chelsea player on the ball in midfield with two men every time and they aren't, they just aren't. They are sat back when Chelsea have the ball and only the man marker goes to close down.
