an ardent chelsea fan at work who watches every minute of every chelsea game laments the laziness of drogba (who when he is good he is excellent, when bad he is woeful, same for anelka), i think age is catching up on terry and lampard (once again i agree gr8 players but slowly losing it), and tbh i have never rated Cole

Excelent thread scott as usual..regarding the match i cant see us getting much out of it if i'm honest but chelsea are so inconsistent at the moment,if we can get into them early doors and rattle a few cages and a few ribs (all within the law though) well you just never know

Dragon spot on. I didnt think Taylor would be ready this season. In all fairness this guy has come on leaps and bounds and will become one of the best left fullbacks for a long time to come. will do well to keep hold of him.

I'm not sure what you're on, but it must be good. I can't see Terry ever leaving, there's a reason he's known as Mr. Chelsea. Lamps is sort of similar, although people are a bit split on him right now. Anelka looks to be leaving end of the season, and we need Drogba to mentor Lukaku.

I agree. Some daft comments on here imo. Not saying we can't do it but the odds are against us for sure.

Errrm....... Reality check. It's Chelsea football club were playing not Chelsea pensioners. Anyone thinking we will be playing against a poor team think again. They aren't continually in the champions league for nothing and they're definitley one of the top 6 clubs in Europe let alone the UK.
I am going, would love to see us get something but anything would be a major surprise.

Good news! Taylor will surely go straight back into the team, but I'd still expect Lita to start. Never know though!

Cracking thread again Scott, keep it up butty.
Well we`ve scored our first goals at last! Took a bit of time, but worth waiting for, now we must crack on and keep it up.
Chelsea are one hell of a team, especially at home and we`ll have our work cut out. Be really happy with a draw, ecstatic with a win. Realistically, I can only see a Chelsea win.
But, if we can score first, then who knows what could happen? Hoping for a good game, and whatever happens we will not give up. The team will certainly be up for it, what with the connections and they will play their hearts out for the 95 minutes or however long it lasts.
Come on you Swans, let`s go.

stats are good scott but you and me could pass back and forth and achieve nothing with passes, in fact i wonder who actually does them, do players wear a ****meter? if not i would worry about some of the stats, however gr8 thread and i hope cle gets skinned a few times and doesn't resort to his if i cant beat him i will kick him attitude as we have seen in the past

Well I agree to disagree with you on Cole, musty. But I do agree that he has a 'side' to his play and he's not averse to crocking players. Chelsea fans, and maybe he too, would argue that goes with the territory if you're a combative LB.
