I like the look of the team. We have an outside chance of getting something now. Chelsea look great on paper of course. I do expect Chelsea to dominate, we just need to hold our nerve.
Souness just said on Sky that Saints are having a fantastic season in that top 4 is even being discussed in the middle of March. And it will still be a great season to finish 5 or 6th when some were discussing relegation seven months ago.
BBC's live feed of the match makes absolutely no mention of Southampton, it's all about Chelsea. It hugely annoying, but I guess it will now be even more satisfying if steal to show in the end.
Appreciate Shane Long and his work ethic, but he really going to trouble Chelsea away ? I think it was a big mistake not bringing in another out and out striker in January.
The discussion on MOTD Extra was similar. At the point they almost talked about Saints it went something like: 'Southampton are still in the race for the top 4?......'Yes and I think with their current form Man City aren't yet safe in the top 4....' Cue Man City discussion

Unlucky not to hit straight back. At least we look dangerous going forward. But that was a very cheap goal to give away. Free header from 6 yards out
