If I read comments on here and my Facebook I would think it was Arsenal that had beaten us tonight. QPR tonight played better than any Arsenal side has done against us since the Invincibles. Solid, compact and kept shape everything Arsenal aren't.

No shame in losing to QPR, Arsenal fans may have forgotten but football did exist before Wenger and back in the early 90s QPR were considerably better than Arsenal and Chelsea. This is a club that beat Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton and Liverpool last season.

Chelsea deserved nothing no excuses. It makes sense for Rafa to rest players v small clubs especially after the hectic Xmas period and World Club Championship. He should have rested one of Mata and Hazard instead of both.

They can't play every game. We looked a bit tired V Everton but this is the best Xmas we have had for ages.

Still not convinced by Rafa (and still hate Torres too) but he is here til May so let's give him a chance

Think Torres has been playing well under Rafa recently (apart from last night and Everton game). If anyone can get Torres playing well it's Rafa.

Disagree. He has scored some good goals, but his link up play and passing are ****e. All his goals have been where he doesn't have to ruin his chances of scoring by taking a touch (i.e. headers and volleys).

With all due respect Stamford I disagree. The only thing that has improved is the service into Torres. I think it's clear that when Torres doesn't have to think or take a touch he is still a decent finisher but freezes inside the box. With regards to the player himself I don't think there's been any improvement, he's a lost cause for me

    I agree with this totally.

Its time for Torres to move on, you can't base a team around a striker that is crap, and we're wasting precious time in trying to do this. If I were the other players I wouldn't even bother to pass the ball to him now as he wastes it most of the time. Perhaps that's what all the ridiculous selfish shooting at the goal last night was all about, frustration. It was like the U11 boys youth team I was manager for, the coach kept shouting pass it to Gary, (his son) every time anyone got the ball yet Gary was just as crap as Torres is.

Torres not only breaks down attacks, he saps all energy from the team. Look at him, disgraceful. 175k a week? Joke. I would take ANY striker in this league over him.

    Firstly, well done rangers.

Secondly, can't remember in a long time when a team was crying out for a striker/finisher so much. I like many others have given torres the benefit of the doubt, hoping, willing and praying he would come good, but now enough is enough. TORRES JUST F.CK OFF.

Who (currently or potentially available) would you take to replace him?

I'm so glad this is obviously hurting you quite badly. You turned out to be a resentful little clown in the end!

Just mention 'Fire Drill' to the bitter muppet. Can't wait for the lads to post the 'fire drill' clip from MOTD! <laugh> Nearly as funny as being at LR in the 80's? <laugh>

Hardly matters, but any striker that gives a toss. Long, recall Lukaku, Gomez, Graham. Literally. At least they'd try.

Benitez ought to first tell Luiz that he isn't a striker - I've seen U10s players get closer to the target from 25 yards!

Top man for both Chelsea and QPR. I was at the game at LR when he scored 2 goals. I think Chelsea fans didn't rate him like we did but what a player. Been a few players fro Chelsea that have done well at QPR. Ols School Chelsea full respect. <ok>
