Be fair alot of games over Xmas, I think some players needed a rest, and at home to the bottom club would seem an ideal opportunity to rest a few big guns. SAF put our a pretty weakened side against WBA, as he knew the players needed a rest

Serious question......do you think Rafa underestimated the local derby thing?

No he simply underestimated the opposition full stop. Nothing to do with it being a derby. He was disrespectful and cost us dear.

that is where Rafa failed before too .. Sir Alex always rotated but picked the sides that are still good enough to win
beside QPR were as tired as chelsea too .. so what is the point of resting players and losing quality? or is FA cup more important.. again Southampton will be as tired as chelsea

not really .. the most important man who needed a rest imo was Torres, he is not at his best when fit let alone tired .. and i think he played every singel game this season
I would had played Moses to give them lots of runs to exhsute thier back4 , then bring in a fresher Torres (if needed) when QPR players are tired

Rest won't help Torres, he's shot anyway. But no this team even without Mata and Hazard should have gained at least a draw. All the players under performed.

No fire drill tonight? Not in the QPR end anyway.

The sincerity of your congratulations lost a bit of weight with that 3 word appendage. But thanks anyway mate. Best of luck for the rest of the campaign. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Be humble in victory Stamford mate.

Have to say I think the response of Chelsea fans both on here and outside the ground has been a credit to them. A few bad eggs, no doubt most of whom visit Stamford Bridge as often as I do for all their tales of the 80s, but they've gone well up in my estimations tonight.
