Nothing will change until we buy some decent strikers! If anyone is still thinking Torres is going to come good then you are off your trolley.

Loud, shouty and thoroughly *issed off.

slow, slow ....... slow, slow, slower

what happened to Hazard and Oscar driving ino the oppositopn box at speed with the ball like they did at the start of the season? Now it's round and round the edge sideways and backwards till the opposition pack the defence.

To be frank, there are two problems.

    1. We need to play with two CDMs who lack passing distribution (Ramires and Mikel) to cover up the shaky defence. Respect to Benitez for bringing in Romeu who being a Barcelona lad logically should have good distribution. Sadly Romeu lacks experience so he didn't make much of a difference.

    2. We have a completely none existent striker. It was not a negative display, look at the stats, we just don't have a striker. The injury to Sturridge was so badly timed.

Solutions? 1 - the defence looks a lot more solid now, maybe we can be more adventurous with formations now?
2 - Sturridge come back, maybe recall Lukaku (though maybe it's best for him to get experience) and get Falcao in January. Falcao loves Chelsea, Torres loves Athletico, we all know what should happen.

Looking at a positive side -

Rafa has done pretty similar to Jose.. However, Jose had great strikers at his disposal whereas Rafa has Nando ONLY....

    Hope upwards and onwards..

    <ok>

    Just what I thought..

Get a striker - Lukaku atleast.. (Please DONT PAY OVER THE ODDS)

No Mikel - is good for us.. Did you see Romeu's excellent pass to Nando ?

Marin did ok, need to see more..

Ramires is never a finisher - he should be played in Mikel's position and another CM should be given the license to penetrate the box like Lamps does..

Need a CM like Lamps to finish off those chances..

BTW, Oscar is worse than Aaron Ramsey - loses position all the time..

I missed the game last night, was child minding the Grandsprogs, they tootled off to bed brilliantly, (ok on a huge threat of death if I missed any of the match) only for me to sit down to the worst connection ever, could only see a load of blur's on a greenish thingy. Found out my daughter has virtually no internet connection. (brand new house)
I saw the score and came on here to have a read up before going to watch the match on a download my son has done for me.

After reading this thread the problem I have now is do I waste 90 minutes of my life watching this ?, or put it down as not too bother as a damage to my health, blood pressure etc, would like to see how Marin did though, what impression did you all get of him, and how long did he get on the pitch ?
