But as others have said, why crush Steven Rusk. Odds are we lose the next 11 games and he will get undeserved vitriol. I think let Juric and SR take the pain.
Not actually as bad as I was expecting tbh. Same old story though that we give away **** goals which ends the match as a contest. First goal was just such a poorly defended set piece after a semi decent start, looked like Smallbone lost his man. Second goal was awful from Downes to give it away and I also thought Ramsdale should have done better. Near post and a decent height. Once they went in the game was over and it became essentially a training exercise like most of our games. Decent atmosphere in the away end all things considered. Roll on May.
Yeah at this point losing games is no bother. But I would at least like our team to be competitive for 70 minutes rather 20.
Nah, it would be a valuable learning experience for him. Wouldn't be hard to improve the current shower. And if he gets a win, he'll be a hero in my eyes.
Do t see it at all mate. Explain to me how this helps his career. Fans get on his back after defeat on defeat Removed from.Saints post as they seek automatic promotion Interviews at clubs, explain you performance as manager of Southampton. It will kill his career, literally no upside at all, apart from being part of your **** bank
Since the sacking of Ralph, we have had 5 managers whilst in the premier league. Ruben Selles hold’s the most wins with a massive 2.
And now he has taken Wolfsburg from fighting relegation to fighting for a European spot. Still can't believe how many fans thought Ralph was to blame. If only we gave Ralph the £50m we wasted on Onuachu, Sulemana and Orsic to spend in the summer. As it was we spent about £30m on man city academy lads.
Hmm, im not sure many blame Ralph at all, do they? He was a fantastic manager. Personally, I was also very Ralph out at the end; not because I blamed him for how **** we were per se, but because he was done here. He was a broken man, out of ideas, and we had to take that gamble. Sadly its backfired spectacularly where even that broken Ralph could do a better job, and that's on the ownership.
No doubt that he is an absolutely wonderful manager. But he hit the end of the road here. We’d have gone down if he stayed, i feel. Sometimes a manager just doesn’t have the same impact on players. But he is absolute light years ahead of all his replacements. I don’t know where we go from here. The club is completely broken
If only we had got home a decent sidekick , Taylor to Clough or more realistically Sammie Lee to Allerdyce when Bolton were good
First game I've not watched in many years. Totally lost interest. I see no future, no hope. We need smart people with reasonable pockets and not these dumb f×××××× to run this club
