Yeah can’t deny his work rate just hate that we still rely on Stephens and Bednerak for our defensive woes. Just the state of our recruitment tbh. The amount of defenders that have come and gone since we’ve had them and yet we still can only turn to them despite the fact they’ve shown over and over that they’re not first team PL quality.
Juric has said he will change things but will stick with the 3 CBs. He says he wants to press high up the pitch yet uses a formation with 5 defenders. Why can't we just have a normal manager that plays players in their actual positions and not in some extremely stubborn way of playing.
My prediction is that Jack Stephens will be selected to start but will be sent off during the pre-match handshakes for his admiring words about Marc Cucurella’s hair.

Russell Martin had Tesco value players and repeatedly tried to make a Michelin risotto and all he did was turn them into Lidl value players. Now Ivan is trying to make a beef Wellington with Lidl ingredients. He ain’t doing **** and it’s not his fault. Maybe let’s start blaming the board who picked completely the wrong manager for the players we had? Like why the **** AGAIN did we make a signing in Gronbaek where it seems like the manager has no interest whatsoever in playing them? How the **** does this keep happening over and over and over and over and over. You could genuinely probably write out almost a first team of players in the last 5 or 6 years who barely even kicked a ball for the club. Yet people are still pointing fingers at the manager. It’s insane.
So we can't complain about Juric's weird decisions because he was picked by the board. But with that logic, we can't blame the board because they were all picked by Solak.
Hopefully Jack Stephens will be wearing mittens to stop him from pulling hair, should he be selected. Disappointing that 3 CBs will still be the chosen set up. How can you press high when you play so many defenders, you instruct the CBs to interchange positions with the midfield players and you only have one striker with two supporting players who don’t know if they should be playing centrally or out wide? The press only works if you press as a pack and do it together. If I can keep my concentration I might try to count how many times I see Bree hugging the right touch line, in front of or behind KWP who will also be hugging the same touch line. Even worse that we have the 8.15 ko and not the 7.30 ko, with me being an hour ahead. I will lose some of my bedtime reading.

He ain’t doing **** and it’s not his fault Yeh, I'm finding the metaphor confusing as I think Lidl are cheap but very effective, Aldi are cheap and better than Tesco and Aldi, there's no mention of Waitrose, Sainsbury's or Coop and the Michelin part is a bit of a tyred cliche. Oh, and where do Morrison's fit in? I'd say RM wanted a Rolex team, Juric just wants a team that can tell the time reliably and they'e actually a Sun Dial team ... on a cloudy day ... but what do I know?
