We should have won that but....the scoreline doesn't lie. Well done to 'pool for keeping at it. I honestly thought Suarez committed a foul with a shove in the back to our lad before he scored - possibly sour grapes! Hope that ends our mini-wobble!
Terrible of him to play your entire attack onside. Also, he injured his medial ligament read the after match comments from Rodgers.
Think that's as bad as we've played all year and judging by the comments of the Lafferpool supporters they seem to think they played brilliantly. Our worst = Lafferpools best.
Draw a fair result. Chelsea missed chances in the first half but Liverpool sorted out the tactics and formation in the second half and were much better and also had two chances to win it right near the end that they didn't take. Could of went either way. We should of started with our normal formation/tactics as that new one was awful in the 1st half and we were better in the 2nd when we went back to normal. Were playing nowhere near as bad as people are loving to make out. The only time we've been outplayed and thoroughly deserved to be beaten this season is against West Brom with 10 men and Arsenal at home. Every other game we've played well and could of won.
Completely disagree, you were outplayed in every department, we just couldn't get through your defence often enough and missed chances when we did. If you think you played well yesterday then your standards for your team are terrible. Only thing I do agree with is that you're not playing as bad (in general) as people are making out but last night you were poor.
You have been beaten the last 4 times you have played us in the league....Chelsea should be happy with a point. Chelsea won the first half, liverpool won the 2nd half...saying that Chelsea looked better in the 2nd half than Liverpool did in the first half. fair result though
Well, unfortunately he's not - needs late fitness tests for England now. He has quite bad muscle issues at the best of times. He didn't dive, if you watch his fall he buckles quite strangely, easy to see how he strained himself. If you play any contact sport you'll be aware that you can play on and then realise you've got an injury afterwards. Influence of responsibility, mentality, on the pitch treatment (spray etc), adrenaline... This isn't hard stuff. If anything he added to your attack, anyway. Agree with you, we were very fortunate yesterday. Amazed at the positivity - the only good thing was the result, and the goal itself was one in a million.
don't want to argue, I made my comment just after it had actually happened and it wasn't a significant event. Agree with your agreement though
