Agreed but we have to play for the win at Newcastle. "Football is a strange old game ain't it Saint". (Jimmy Greaves)

Terrible performance that summed up the season even before kick off. Bad call by Conte to change a winning team and one that had played well. This really was the game not to lose, and someone badly underestimated our opponents resiliance, and overestimated our ability to break down determined defence.
    Few observations.
I won't mind if we lose Zappacosta, Fabregas Morata and Giroud. None of them are of the quality required. Hazard can go as well unless we build a new team around him. Right now he is doing nothing except stifling what little attacking threat we have, apart from rare glimpses of greatness. Add to this list Drinkwater and Barkley. I am not a big fan of Christensen either, yes he has loads of potential, but no flair or impact , and in my opinion ,he restricts the attack Dave and Rudiger show when he's not playing. He needs another full season of being a sub and playing better selected games. We have asked too much of him too soon. Luiz has been sorely missed and for me is a big part of the reason we won't make top 4.
We have no power, no directness and no team cohesion because our players are too mismatched.
Appalling recruitment by RA and Maria.
All in all a terrible way to slope out of any chance of top 4.

Missed the first half but Zappacosta in this system is too hit and miss.

Fabregas i thought had a great game and played realy well. In a match against these ****ty teams he could play in a 4-4-2.

I quite like Giroud, he's definitely worth a go. We should get shot of Morata unless he shows something in training. Dunno if its first season syndrome but he's been diabolical this 2nd half of the season but he is relatively young.

I don't fancy seeing Christensen as the Middle CB. We shouldn't play him there.

Anyone has any doubt on Tony's intentions anymore? Called it months ago. <doh>

No need for FA Cup if Tony is still the manager. Give it to Judas already!!!!

Atleast Judas gave as a great chance (missing Europa) to win the league last season, even though he almost relegated us.

Tony is way worse. We will be hamstrung for the next few years due to Europa!!

Sad, but I called this like zillion months ago.. Tony Out FFS!!!!!

Absolute load of bollocks Stan, you couldn't predict which side of the sky the sun will come up.
No point stating the obvious, tell us something we don't know.
Here's my prediction, Chelsea to lose against all ****ty Clubs and beat all the better Clubs. Been happening for 3 years now, no skill in predicting that. It's arrogance and complacency at top Club level, nothing to do with Managers or individuals.

Yeh, and Jimmy Saville was from the same county as Huddersfield - Yorkshire - and he had the same ‘resilience’ not to get caught/beaten.

He’s liken to a long playing record but a record has more brain cells.

Couldn’t agree more - one of the most difficult fixtures you will come up against is an opponent who are fighting for their lives at the wrong end of the table; whatever code you play you field your most in-form team barring injuries and suspensions, this selection ranks alongside Ranieri’s brain haemorrhaging in the semi final first leg against Monaco.......totally bizarre.

Not even sure I'll watch the game on Sunday. When did we become so boring? This might have been the least exciting Chelsea side I've ever watched, there is just nothing to us at all and considering the amount of money we spent we have some absolutely bang average players and that's probably being kind.

Glad Huddersfield have stayed up though, like an underdog story.
