I feel for Rosicky, it's not like he's had much playing time for us and everyone's saying he isn't playing well. Also, I can't name too many of our players that have been playing well enough to warrant a constant spot. If he got as many chances as Flamini or Ozil, then he too could have picked it up. I just feel that Rosicky gives our midfield good balance, he defends well and keeps possession well.

Yep I like Rosicky and I think he's good defending as well as attacking. You're right to point out that he keeps possession well and he is quick to try and win it back too. It's true that he's not had much playing time, but I suppose the problem is that when he has come in he's not been great and for the manager he needs players to come in and hit the ground running.

You do have to feel for him though, even with Arteta and Ramsey injured and Wilshere not 100%, he still can't even get a game.

But the question is, do we need so many attacking play makers in the side at one time. I would like to see both Flamini an Rosicky playing a more deep lying midfield role with either Cazorla or Wilshere playing the main ACM position. When you have both Sanchez and OXO playing no either side, we have enough attacking forwards/midfielders playing who can create and score goals. This kind of formation would be better against tougher opp like Chelsea or Bayern.

    OXO----------WELBECK-------SANCHEZ
    ----------------CAZORLA------------------
    ----ROSICKY-------FLAMINI--------

    I think that would work.

Absolutely Laz. The double pivot system from last season with Ramsey & Arteta worked well. A similar system with Rosicky & Flamini in which Ros makes late runs into the box ala Ramsey could work wonders.

It would give us much needed solidity and assurance at the back. Also, it would give Ozil or whoever occupies the main CAM position, free attacking license without the worry of losing the ball.

Agree with this. It needs a disciplined pairing, one can get forward a bit more to support the AM but they should act as a pair of central midfielders in the absence of an out and out DM.

Still not playing as a team but Ramsey was a big miss as was Walcott. Lets hope the aliens bring back the old Ozil pretty soon. <whistle>

In the games leading up to his injury ozil has been back in the middle of the park and back on form, one of our best players in recent games. Now he is out for twelve weeks :s
