Although I think top 4 is blown for Arsenal irrespective of the outcome of this match it's now a must win, even a draw won't do.

From a Chelsea perspective it's an inconsequential match from a mathematical point of view but it's still a big derby and winning this match enables us to prioritise the FA Cup Final as I genuinely believe 2 more wins secures us top 4 even if we lost the remaining 6 games.

We've ****ed it in spectacular style over the last 3 weeks. Going from a commanding position in 4th with the chance to extend our lead, to losing 3 on the trot and handing the initiative to the Spuds.

Plus we still have to play you, Utd and West Ham in a row and then Spurs a couple of weeks later.

It will be a ****ing miracle if we're not down in 8th at the end of that run.

    :(

Unless you have a very off day in front of goal, I don’t see us getting anything from this. Honestly, I think a battering could be on the cards.

It’s gonna be one way traffic.

I’m lucky I have to be at an event so won’t be able to watch.

Chelsea have played 120 minutes away in Spain and 90 minutes on a big Wembley pitch so this will be their third match in 7 days ... they can't really afford to rotate so they may not cope with a third intense match in 7 days

They also have a better manager, a better first team and a better squad - so they’re the factors working against us <laugh>

Jeez, this team is horrendous. I won’t be watching, but I’ll be keeping an eye on the score…

    Ugh terrible team.

    I would have gone...

    Ramsdale

    White
    Holding
    Gabriel
    Tavares

    Xhaka
    Elneny

    Odegaard
    Martinelli
    Saka

    Smith Rowe.

It's a free pass in as much as we'll lose it as spurs will lose at Liverpool. Take both teams' remaining fixtures and that's where the difference will be made to sort out who comes 4th.

Beating United at home is not out the question and would give the team some belief. Do that and the final series of matches becomes tasty again, particularly the NLD.

Not winning against united will be the final nail in the coffin I feel.

We can’t be viewing games at this stage of the season as a free pass, especially as we’ve just lost the last 3 to midtable sides. We need to start picking up points somewhere.

.. and that's why I would have played Smith Rowe as a false 9. He's probably the best finisher we have.

You look much more balanced with Xhaka in his natural position and an actual LB at LB. Not sure why this was rocket science to Arteta.

    Chelsea understandably look exhausted.

Can't wait til Tomiyasu and Partey are back.

Fair play yo Lokonga today though he's played well after a poor spell.

Elneny is a very panicky player - he always has this nervous energy about him.

4-2, excellent. Back in the race have to say now.

Chelsea looked tired today; but credit to us to win it despite being pegged back twice.
