Depends who you get your tickets from. Officially they are between 30 and 140 euros. I can't even imagine the cost of getting there and accommodation. Apparently you have to fly to Ukraine first and then get a connecting flight. Hotels will be charging a premium too.
At least I reckon. I'd be guessing, but as Baku isn't a major international hub, flights would be at a premium anyway. So likely at another 30% on top because of the demand. Then at least two nights in a hotel, tickets, taxis, food etc. I reckon you'd do the best part of £3k
My old man was a Charlton supporter mate. He passed away last month, so the badge is in honour of him
Thanks mate, appreciate that. Yeah he would have been well chuffed to see them back up into the Championship.
Unfortunately I think they will be unified tomorrow. i don't care about their internal politics anyway, I just want an Arsenal win, any how any way. Never been more desperate to win a football game. So much depends on it.
Oh how much we all want Arsenal to play Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa Super Cup!! Bring it on and make North London the capital of world football, if only for a few years.
It would be cheaper going to this autumn´s Rugby Union World Cup tournament in Japan and staying for the duration.
Yeah it's a massive game. Biggest one we've had for years. A win not only give us a pot, but another European pot, a trophy for Emery's first season and a place back in the Champions League. So much riding on this game Come on Arsenal !
Not only that, but the CL money, and the better players we could buy with that. Massive game as you say.
To be honest, for me, it's not even just about the CL football/income. As good as our trophy haul is in domestic competitions, our record in Europe is appalling. We've won 2 European cups in our entire history and they don't even exist anymore, which sort of highlights the distinct lack of success we've had on that front. I want us to win a 'proper' European trophy. This would be our first European trophy for 24 years. Our first European final for 13 years. And - if we can win it - it would be the biggest trophy we have won since we last won the league in 2004. So much riding on this tomorrow. Let's hope we get the job done
Cech is reportedly going back to chelsea as a coach after this game so that seems like an added pressure to me. He is slso no where near as good as your number one so it's a big gamble too imho.
It's a big call. If he has a mare then it tarnishes his last game for us and he runs the risk of being accused that his heart wasn't in it due to the Chelsea link. Personally, I think he'll give 100% for Arsenal tonight, but I agree he's not as good as Leno, so we're playing our 2nd choice GK in a major cup final ..... big gamble.
