    Bitter, Bitter Yid.

Tell ya what, stick your class in your trophy cabinet as it hasn't seen a league title for 53 years and even Judas Iscariot should he still be alive today would never have witnessed a European Cup.

Chelsea lack class? We've got **** loads of class. Spurs have got lots of class too, all of it lower.

Helps when you dive for penalties, get goals awarded for the ball not crossing the line, etc ;)

I knew you wouldn't understand what class was, it's a foreign concept to chavs.

6061---You have produced an excellent post here, in my opinion! Something like that would have taken me a month of Sundays to produce. The reference to our Cup Final tie in 67 is very meaningful to me as I happened to be there and in the 6 pals group I was in ,2 happened to be "Spuds" as we say down at SB! They became very hard work on the way home, I have to say! Thankfully, from that point on we got them back many a time since! Happy days!

Yup the 67 final was when I decided to join the crusade, 9 years old and watched the game on our brand new/rented black and white telly. Do people rent tellies any more? Can you say B&W or do I have to go for Monochrome for political correctness. I remember Spurs being the better team on the day and deserved the win. I still think Bobby Tambling is the best player to wear a Chelsea shirt but am hoping one of the current crop can sway me over, Drogba Osgood Wilkins, came close.

As easy as it gets so far. Not at our best but 2-0 up. Off the ball we've been excellent, on it not so much. Oscar and Willian superb thus far.

City winning was disappointing but not unexpected. The Blues are still going strong though. Loving us at the moment.

Tonight was arguably City's easiest game this month. Next we have injury stricken Newcastle and Hull at home... Win both of those and it will be near inconceivable to not win the league from there.

You have a six point lead, there is a big possibilty it will remain thus for the next two games. A six point lead at this stage of the season means about as much as it would two games in. Were you born in Liverpool by any chance?

Agree completely with Joses assessment , excellent 2nd half, and 10 mins of the first half. Tottenham looked very lively, quick on the break and direct. Much better than last year, and they play attractive football under this manager. They just lack that class and quality of player that usually only money buys. Good win, but some good things for Spurs to take from the game as well.
Special praise for Ivan, another storming game. Most improved player at the club.

Remember last year we came very close without any strikers. Shouldn't be a big deal now.
Yaya would miss atleast 3 matches in Jan. That should definitely put us 3 more pts ahead of our title rivals.

Remember last year Liverpool came very close and all they had was a striker <laugh>
Yaya has one amazing run every 3/4 games, i think Fernandinho and Fernando have him covered in midfield. Silva is due back and that will make a big difference to them.
Arsenal spent the majority of last year in first position, it meant nothing in the end.
1996 Newcastle 12 point lead in January, lost the league.
1997 Ubited 13 point lead in December, lost the league.
2003 Arsenal 5 point lead in March, lost the league.
2012 United 8 point lead in April, lost the league.
There is a long way to go yet <ok>

Edit Coincidentally, after 14 games last season Arsenal sat on top of the league, 6 points ahead of City.
Arsenal had won 11, City had won 9 (Arsenal finished 7 points behind City).

We are not goons & Jose is not Arsene.

BTW - Losing 8pts lead in April is THE worst!

City starting to look good. They've come through 2 tricky away games with relative ease to be fair. They are a big threat, but realistically our only threat. Last year for long periods 4 teams could win the league, now it's only really 2 and we have a cushion having played at some of the hardest away grounds as well (both Manchester clubs and both Liverpool clubs). Important after the weekend 'blip' to get back and a good solid win in the end - even without Costa.

Superb last night: Drog and Remy showing our strength in depth. Zouma looked good. Hazard unplayable again.

We just need to integrate Schurrle Salah and Rambo into the team for a hectic Xmas programme
