Well PNP - we really will never know cos in all previous games this season no team has actually had to defend a corner from us that was put into a dangerous area - that's if it actually beat the first man!!!
I think that the commentator today summed it up when he said that Walker's goal against Bolton would've been our 2nd headed goal all season, if it had stood, Relayer. That's unbelievably ****.
Just heard that myself He also thought the Ramires/BAE coming together was 'a clear penalty' With that level of delusion you would think he was managing at Klanfield.....
Villa are ****ing awful. While I'm here, can anyone that hasn't voted in the Mod Election please do so via PM? http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/132313-New-Moderator-the-Vote! Ta!
Hahaha!! It's a shame we didn't win today, but we didn't get a lot from the ref. 50/50's went against us all game. The hand balls were harsh, the bookings were harsh and even when cole slams the ball down on the ground after a decision going against him... We don't see the ref give a booking. The crowd had a big impact on the refs game, his decisions were very delayed. we did well and showed resilience today. 3 points would have been nice, but I think the players will be happy with that. For me, it feels like a win. A lot of positives to take, and the end of our tough, tough spell.
http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/mar/24/chelsea-tottenham-premier-league-mbm good commentry on the game.
There was some ridiculous decisions in that game that went against us, but they were relatively minor. Some of them were so clearly wrong that I couldn't help but laugh.
The only thing that surprised me about Atkinson today was that we didn't end up with two penalties given against us!
I'm fairly sure he hasn't YV, i said it elsewhere, that for a team whose best way of play is with wingers, the lack of headed opportunities for Ade is baffling. Having said that perhaps he isn't that good in the air, he missed two rebounds from 6yds putting them over the bar yesterday.
