Started the same way we finished the first half. Hernandez shot if thats what you call it shocking and he gets paid for that.

Tell we are poor when Pablo is one of our better players today.

Hernandez is having an amazing game by his standards - he's only been rubbish half the time today.

Abysmal and the commentators are rightfully hammering our players for lack of effort saying they are not earning their big wages. Tell you what, I wouldn't bother signing JdG for next season, I think he's had a character bypass. If there's any hard work or running to be done you can bet that he won't be the one doing it. He's not the only one today and Ash is about as inspirational as a used condom. He can p**s off too if we can get decent money.

Rangel is trying with some decent runs down the flank. Ki and Leon are being overwhelmed because Johnny "Nowhere" has gone missing as usual. Routledge is pants and Michu is being starved of service because the "Nowhere Man" isn't even contributing in attack. Ben is trying and Chico is busy.... being Chico. Take note, Ash. Pablo, fair play, is also having a go and trying to get involved but there is a lethargy about the team that is just not acceptable. For me, it has to start with Ash. He is the captain and senior player and should be driving the others on. Right now he looks like he couldn't motivate Dilli to have a pint.

I expect that Michael Laudrup cannot wait to sign in some fresh blood. And as an afterthought, perhaps the lot of them could take a look at their studs. They look like they're playing on ice.

Final cynical thought. If Benitez wasn't leaving at the end of the season, I might be suspecting that we'd swapped three points in exchange for getting Lukaku on loan next season.

That crossfield pass from Hernandez was total bollocks and symbolic of his usual displays.

Will Laudrup take De Guzman off before I burst a bloody vessel. Why the hell didn't he go for goal.

I'd say Ki has been one of our better players so far.

We are creating a few good moves going forward - as long as nobody has to bust a gut to get to a ball.

Agreed Ivor. JDG is quite simply not good enough for us. We just as well play with 10 men than pick him.
