Dai, I admire your optimism but please !!! It's Chelsea coming to town not Cardiff there's a bit if a difference in class and they're well capable of turning it around
I like Dai's optimism After all this is the same Chelsea that have only put 2 goals past in the last 180 minutes of football at the Liberty. One of those a flukey deflected goal 0 GD in that time also, so what makes them feel like they have a chance of getting +3 in 90? No different to the Chelsea fans saying they think they can put 3 past us lol. I know its football, and anything can happen, hell we could win 3-0 at home
Brendan Rodgers want's Torres back at Liverpool for 20 million, as long as Abramovich pays it up front.
We have to remember as well.... we will hopefully have Cech and Terry back in the starting team and Ba up front... it ain't over
When you play with 1 up front your putting all your eggs into 1 basket, so that player needs to be top class. Chelsea actually played quite well, but once again they were let down by Torres, who is pretty much a passenger. He doesn't get many chances because he doesn't move into the right positions. It's like he's trying to avoid getting the ball. I think everyone seen that when Ba came on Chelsea looked far more dangerous, as he leads the line well and is always running into the right positions. If Chelsea want to salvage anything from this disaster of a season, then they must start Demba Ba every game instead of Torres
chelsea ,cardiff, liverpool, man city who cares we beat the lot of them and winning 2-0 at the bridge is special and gives us plenty of optimism when the come to our place...enjoy the moment i am and im sure chelsea fans would have if they had won..
Why? we were massive underdogs and because you are chelsea you will be favorites at the liberty anyway, I still cant see you scoring by 3 clear goals though...
Think its natural that Demba Ba will get the nod in the return leg and he showed how dangerous he was in just 10 minutes tonight Plus there is every chance Chelsea will have added to their ranks by then, not sure if they are tied or not Can be done, just dont expect it to be

To be fair Swansea are massive favourites and a great result for them last night. However previous games between us go out the window and just because we haven't scorred much at the Liberty of late counts for nothing for 2 main reasons: - - We know we have to score more than 1 to win and will have to go for it from the off unlike a league game when you can perhaps be more patient. A wounded animal is more dangerous etc. - If we score first, Swansea may well **** themselves. It's a massive massive game for them and the pressure may start to take a toll on some of the less experienced players as the game goes on. Say it's 2-1 to us going into the last 10 minutes, how nervous will the players and crowd get??? Very - and then anything can happen. Head and heart both say you'll do enough in the end but that first goal is massive. If you score it, it's over. If we do, anything can happen. Cup games are completely difference affairs to league games. I remember CL QF v Liverpool a few years back, we won 3-1 at their place and within half an hour at the bridge they were level. The approach to the game from both sides is completely different to normal.
