Solid performance, shame we didn't score a couple more. I much prefer it when i play a left footed player at Left Back too.

Matic looked really good, doesn't mind going forward and adds balance as he's left footed. Him and Ramires would be a good pairing IMO.
 
I thought we were absolutely brilliant today, just lacking that incisiveness in front of goal - I think we should've won by about 4 or 5!!

Matic looked superb, a real difference from his last outing in a blues shirt. Good to see Schurrle put in a good shift too.

Matic was excellent, Schurrle and Luiz very good as well. Cole also showed why he should play.
 
Good all round team performance all that was missing was a few more goals
Can tell it was comfortable because i didnt keep looking to see how long was left
 
Good all round performance. Hazard and Oscar get the plaudits of course but everyone else was very solid. Good return to action from Lampard as well who covered a lot of the pitch and was always involved.

Eto'o looking sharp too but I do think he steps out the box a bit too much.

He seems to be adjusting to the league and looks like he's regained a bit of top league fitness after being in an awful one for a while. Poor in front of goal at times but hopefully he improves as I think he's a good player to have.
 
Really pleased with that game, couldn't fault any of them. Think Matic made a big difference (in both meanings of the word) and very pleased with his performance
