It’s perfectly fine to question Howe. Excuses or not it’s what he is there to do. If managers at any level in any industry don’t perform then it’s change. For example. I could do a fantastic job for a year. Deliver everything and more. Then the next year **** everyone off. Make bad decisions and lose my company money. But do they think well it’s ok because he did well the year before. Do they hell. It’s always a performance based job. The harsh reality is that Howe has over delivered last season and under delivered this season.
My opinion, wether decent or ****e I don’t know.. Tonali after a few more games getting adjusted would have massively improved our playing style. Massively.
There's players arguing and getting pissed off.. everyone looks at the player that's easy to point at, but the entire side is dysfunctional and that's the managers fault it's really that simple. If it's one or two players that's different. Howe got his balls licked all last season , so how come now it's all about the players and he's not being asked questions when the sides not playing well.
We scored when we were 3-1 down. I swear to god, if all your Christmas’s, birthdays and fantastic leg overs came on the same day, you’d still find something to moan about.
We lost 4 at Arsenal and tbf to Bruce he wasn't exactly given the money Howe has. Howe is a better coach than Bruce, but if howe finished 10th -12th that's poor given what rafa and Bruce managed with much poorer squads.
Depending on how the season ends I’m still on the fence. We could go out in the cup get a few more injuries and lose more games. Where does the owners draw a line. Look the season could easily end strong. But have we beaten anyone this season of any note? In the PL?
Anyway just look at some of the **** players at our managers disposal ! This side is 1 billion away and the club can't spend anything.
That’s therefore not Howes fault. The spending thing is a red herring. The question is should Howe be doing better with this squad of players. Or are we where we probably should be given the chronic lack of investment under previous regimes. Maybe where we are is a reality check. We have 4 or 5 great players. 3 or 4 good players and then the rest are average PL players. Maybe we (me) are being harsh on Howe? Thoughts?
The clubs better under the new owners, that's no doubt. Managers a bit overrated like and that's never good, when they are seen as a Golden Goose and you're waiting for the eggs that never come. I just want to shake up the club, but I'm on the fence between signing new players and giving Howe a shot with them, or bringing In a new coach and new players I absolutely detest how Howe utilizes new talent, it took a mind boggling amount of time for Tino to start games, then he dropped him
That's not no, but the way the players perform is. If the side does well the manager gets credit and vice versa... that's how it should be.
Tino looked our best player today he looked rapid and sharp. The same players that we all mention underperforming is a problem. Burn Miggy and Longstaff we need to upgrade.
The new rules are not going to allow it. Newcastle will have to sell their best players by the look of it. I think nufc are being put in checkmate actually.
Or just increase revenue. Which they can. All they need to do is continue infrastructure investments, which we are one of the leading clubs in the league with I think your brain is sometimes a bit too static
