I do honestly believe that Tony Pulis could do what he does.

Pulis would have set up the defence better!

  4. I'd rather have Pulis than Mourinho. Not a seconds thought needed.

I agree with you mate, not because he's more talented or more proven just because I can't stand the bloke. A mate of mine in work is a Real Madrid fan and he could not stand him. It goes to show that he's made for Chelsea and Chelsea are made for him.

Not much chance of that... he's sacked managers for winning things (RDM, Ancelotti, Mourinho first time round). No chance he'd keep him if they continue to be this bad at Christmas.

  8. Even less chance he'll keep him and not give him cash to spend!

When will Roman get bored? His club have won all the trophies he wanted. Surely he will be off in the near future (wishful thinking).

Building a new stadium so doubt he'll go before that.. Probably once that's been built and club is worth a bit more money, similar to us.

I'd imagine once the extension is finished on Anfield, then the Owners will be looking to sell up as the club's value would have increased by another £100m or so by then.

Chelsea would be insane from a results perspective to sack Mourinho. You get to have a bad season after giving the club all those trophies. Talk of the sack is nuts in that context, but I suspect there is more going on, the whole doctor mess and his really weird interviews seem to allude to some sort of stress related disorder, he has gone into meltdown and now his interviews are just creepy <laugh>

There was a stat that backed up romans methods, basically it was along the lines of when he sacked the manager the next has come in and delivered success of some sort.

Yup, I have no real issue. They've made mistakes, but most owners do as they aren't perfect and they are new to football.

First and foremost they are businessmen though, brought the club at it's lowest value, reduced the wage bill to save money and adding value to the club by building the extension.

No doubt they'll sell the club in 3-4 years for a tidy profit which is fair enough. As long as it's sold to the right people, can't complain.

  16. TBF, Rafa was never going to stay. the fans didn't and never would accept him. He also gave RDM a chance the following season.

What if Chelsea hadn't won the CL when they did, could Spurs have gone on to be a consistent top 4 team?

    #178
  19. Winning the CL didn't make any difference to how Chelsea conducted business so I doubt it would have been any different.
