Of course it was checked and it was a clear penalty. No point fans blaming the officials, our own players f*cked it up and Klich needs a right kick in the balls after that stupid challenge.
VAR was used for all penalties. I'm not one to hold grudges but they didn't even consider VAR last season with Poveda. If they were penalties today wtf was the Dan James one at Newcastle earlier this season?
Sky saying Leeds should have got something from the game, we should have went on and won it, saying we were brilliant today but it was stupid and clumsy from Klich, through the back of the player a definite penalty
Yeah, they were penalties. Soft ones. Stupid ones from our lads. I'm crying because we don't tend to get those.
Klich. He was our best player first 7 games last season. He's been **** ever since. Time to offload after today. He's been great for us but the last 18 months has been a liability. His legs have gone.
I agree with you mate, I’ve seen both and I thought they were penalties. We defend and tackle like we’re in the Championship still.
they said on sky the second penalty was only checked for offside. I haven’t seen either, but opinion seems split on the second one, and not just from Leeds fans Emotions are high and all fans remember the decisions against them more than the ones that went in their favour…. We’ve actually had a few breaks this season, but I’d agree that the balance isn’t in our favour - that James one at Newcastle was stonewall.
Still proper pissed off but I’ve said it before “when a player is off the pace he resorts to cheating” but to do it in the penalty area is pure stupidity. Don’t give the ref the opportunity because we know anything will go against us
Can anyone explain how Reece James was not sent off for that tackle on Dan James? Both his feet were off the ground and he put Dan 6 feet into the air. Cooper gets sent off every time he makes a similar tackle! The commentator on BEIN was sure he would be sent off. So was I.
