Can definitely see this happening too. Although i'd happily take a boring 0-0 with the position we are in.

6 games to go with 10 pts leads - no one has thrown it. Jose is not going to let that happen.
No other team would get more than 80 pts. So, 1 win & 2 draws from our remaining 6 WILL seal title.

I predicted Jose winning us the league in May 2014 will be a failure.
I was very optimistic and Jose hand delivered title to City - thanks to Lamps, Nando & Mikel.

Due to last season's failure my expectation was cautious.

After Spuds match on New Years day - I did say that if Jose starts Mikel more than 5 games we can kiss title good bye.
No wonder we are close to the title. This year most likely he is going to win it before May 2015.

Indeed Jose identified the weak links in Nando, Lamps, Mata, Luiz Etoo and replaced with more skilful harder working players.

    I don't agree.
Jose of all people will never lose to prove that he needs something.

He wanted to win the title with little horses and dead horses.
He wanted to be too clever and wanted to prove how good he was.

He had virtually no competition last year. May be he underestimated City & Pell.
Had he removed dead horses earlier - we would have won it last year.

With Costa last year I think we may have had the difference to win the title. Can never know for sure but that was the main issue for me. We were still favourites once we brought in Matic so we can't completely blame the central midfield issues.

We lost the title dropping silly points to mid to lower end sides. A top striker can make the difference in such tight games where you may only get 1-2 clear cut chances. The striker was not Jose's fault. The club went all out for Rooney and it failed leaving Jose with Torres et al. To be fair though, the money being thrown around for strikers summer 2014 was ridiculous such as 50 million on Failcao and Cavani.

Just makes this year even sweeter though (assuming we get over the line!!)
