I was not talking about leaving Medel out! I was saying that Mutch and Medel could sit in the midfield and Gunnar would be left out.
I have seen this before and it is quite a funny video. Still, I am not sure why a Swansea supporter spends so much time searching for Cardiff related news and hangs out on our board most of the time. Says a lot about a person.
Many positives to take out of that game: 1. The score was not a true reflection of the game as a whole 2. Cech made 2 great saves whereas Marshall should have saved 2 of their goals 3. The ref/lino gifted Chelsea's first goal (Mutch had a lot more to do than Hazard after Luiz' slip) 4. City were excellent first half of 2nd half. (Possibly Mackay could have been more offensive with his substitutions as Chelsea had opened up the game with 3 at the back but he left Cowie on rather than bring on eg Noone) Some lessons though to be learnt possibly: 1. Gunnarrson needs to be dropped; he does nothing and gives away the ball too easily 2. City need to be more offensive; 4-4-2 maybe with Noone starting. 3. City still give away the ball too cheaply; aimlessly kicking it away in defence straight to an opposing shirt - if in doubt put in row z (Cowie for their 2nd goal as an example) 4. City players need to gamble with more shots on goal rather than another pass - again Cowie on the break 2nd half as an example. Overall whilst disappointed with the result, as it was not a 3 goal margin game, still optimistic if City start to be more aggressive in going forward earlier in games and trust their defence to do their jobs at the back. 4-4-2 maybe?
Well i think that the Norwich game is huge now. The first real acid test of the season. Here's hoping
Mutch has to start. Whether for Gunnar in a deeper role or for Kim in a more attacking role remains to be seen. If PO is leading the attack then Kim on the right. Saying that, I thought there was more urgency with FC up top than with PO. Not sure what out best team is, but it is good we have the depth to consider the options. I still think if Bellamy is going to start he should be on the left where he seems far more effective than on the right. Whitts, Mutch and Medel in the middle, bellamy on the left, Kimbo on the right? I said some tim ago we'd be on the end of a big score at some point and maybe bigger than against Chelsea. The encouraging bit is that the scoreline flattered them. They were the better team but we had our moments.
