Agreed - very poor today. All the effort in the world but no cigar. His awareness of players around him (theirs and ours) is zero. If it stays like this for an hour, I can't see Malky subbing him, but going for the throat with Noone or Kimbo out wide instead of him, or even Maynard to double up up front could be a goer if we drop behind. Looks to me that the Chelsea defence don't like it one bit when you run at them.
He's been stellar so far this season though & we're all allowed to make the odd mistake. Should give everyone something to talk about for the next wek or so though.
Everyone is getting the rulebook out for that one and it appears that it should not have been a goal. Looked perfectly legal to me but then I'm old school from the days when protecting the goalkeeper was just dream.
Inevitable the way it was going. We should have at least got a shot on target minutes before the goal, Gunnersson is a liability.
Double bugger, 3 - 1, Oscar. If the score stays then same then my prediction is right apart from our scorer. We all knew this would be a tough one. Gunnar still "overwhelmed" from his celebrations after Iceland made the World Cup play offs?
When will we learn not to stand off em in the last 3rd of the pitch!!! Passing out of defence awful , Mutch best for City and a 4-1 result flatters Chelski
Disappointing guys but we all knew there would be days like this. Pity Marshie helped them back in the game though. Time to regroup now and get back in the saddle for next weekend. Naaaarwich took a pasting as well today so they won't be best pleased with themselves either. Hope Medel was just tired not injured. With Gunnar having a bad time we can't afford for him to be our sole defensive midfielder. On a brighter note Harris came on as sub for Brentford in the 65th minute and scored their third. Nugent also sub but didn't play. Ralls not even on the bench at Yeovil. McNuggs played the whole game for Bolton in their 1 - 1 draw with the Wendies for whom McPhail played and got booked. Lappin an unused sub for Sheff. Utd.
