Yea - I just edit my previous post before I read this one of yours. I suppose it really doesn't matter which version (edited/over-dubbed or not) is chosen - both were brilliant. Especially if you were there in person. Hell of a night.

Edit: I was in at Leeds from August '65 to August '72 - the music scene there was unbelievable.
Best years of my life for sure.

I would have loved to have been there, TC, but I wasn't born until 64

Then you would have missed the original of this track being released, but hopefully heard/seen this much later version.
Saw this lot at least 8 times live in their brief existance, but missed the re-union concert at the RAH. Fantastic band.

I still cringe looking at. Especially as she didn’t get the abuse she so richly deserved and would have got from fans of other clubs if one of theirs had done that.

    I was there that day.

Never saw her, no idea if she got any stick.

First impression is she wouldn't understand anyway, bless her, and she has probably been groomed by some Hull or East Yorkshire plastic Micky.

Just as bad was Analfield in 2008/9 when I saw some well-to do couple with their young son (let's call him Barnaby} and young daughter (let's call her Octavia). The young lad on his Playstation and the young lass asleep.

    It's called PL football.

Amazing how these people end up getting tickets when fans who were there in the bad times missed out.
One who you know went to the Emirates on his own as he was the only one of his group who got a ticket. Next to him were two women and 3 kids. Again, more interested in their phones and game boys. One of the women asked if he would tell the kids who was who as they didn’t know as it was their first game. This was after Duffen scrapped the Away Direct scheme because he said who was to decide some fans were more deserving than others.

Couldn't find a clip by Octavia's old man, so Mark Bolan will need to sub for Antony...

Memories of the in famous ballot to get tickets for away games. I wasn't 'lucky' enough to be drawn out of the hat for L'pool away. I know two who were, one a Hull born and bred L'pool 'fan' on his first ever visit to Anfield and his Hull born and bred mate who 'supports' Man Utd. No wonder the atmosphere in the away end was ****e.
Also had to travel corporate to Chelsea that season because it was the only way I could guarantee a ticket. I never recognised anyone on the coach, all new supporters, no chat, nothing in common with any of them and therefore hated the trip there and back.
We couldn't fill a mini bus to Boro a few weeks back. No need for a ****ing ballot for that one.

I remember all the whingeing in 2008/9 about away tickets...

I also remember in 2009/2010 at Goodison on Sunday lunchtime, it seemed like we'd only sold about half our tickets.

On the basis of the outrage about no available games, I would have thought that all the frustrated fans from the previous season would have gobbled these up.

It's almost as if people like complaining...

Wasn't that the one where the club put on free travel for those travelling via Tiger Travel ? Seem to remember 16 or so coaches leaving Hull for that one ?

Never went with TT to that one,

The previous season was a sell out as it was massive ground tick as well as our first season.

Agreed the away ticketing was **** for the first PL season but too many people in the second season never bothered and were happier sulking.

By 2009/10 the bandwagon was starting to lose passengers and tix could be had for most games.

It was only the London games and LFC/MUFC that attracted the turds - most away followings were decent fans.

Our **** away form in 2009 and 2010 no doubt helped the thin out the lightweights.

Baku authorities so embarrassed at empty seats they let people in for free 30mins into EL final & gave them flags - without UEFA’s blessing.

Some people, predominantly those who only discovered City post Boothferry Park, picked and chose the “glamour” games.

They are a clueless, out of touch bunch. From Martin Samuel’s Daily Mail column-

“Privately, UEFA know they made a mistake with Baku. The city was dead, the fan zones were empty, the atmosphere muted, the stadium far from full. And their justifications for it all made no sense.

'It would be the same if we gave the final to Wembley and two teams from Azerbaijan got there,' one executive said.

But that's never going to happen. It would be like the Football Association not securing Wembley for an FA Cup final, in case Accrington Stanley and Morecambe made it and they couldn't sell out. Let's get real about possibilities.”

    I know.

I went to the League Cup Final 1st leg at Old Trafford along with about 1,000 others in Jan 2017.

Where were all these people who were grumbling they couldn't get tickets for the big PL away games?

Angrily boycotting, grumbling about tix allocations or just lazy ****s watching on tv?

Have people got bored of us playing in FLC semi finals already?

Or maybe they have a larger fanbase as they are from a larger conurbation and have more plastics to boot.

    Just putting it out there.

Nothing to do with them having more fans who are dedicated?
