Chelsea third best club in the world

I hated our games in the CL to be honest.
Remember the season after you won it, where you were exempt from protection against same league clubs and we got you in the group stage, and both teams saw out two 0-0 draws? Two of the most boring games of football I can remember.

 

Yeah but the games in the knockout were good even when you beat us it was a good game.

 

Good that you guys are back in Europe so we have our annual bye in the competition (2008 and 2009)

 

Yeah, these rankings need to explain how they were created, Chelsea aren't bigger than Juve or Barcelona in any way and that wont change for the next maybe 10 years or so, realistically we're like 6th-7th.

Nothing to be ashamed about with that!

 

There's no guarantee he'd have given the pen and/or the sending off of course but I know what you're getting at. Personally (and I am biased) over the 2 legs we were unlucky to not go through and almost nicked it at the death when Eidur missed that volley. Very very small margins.

 

We're not going to make the knockout this time unless there's a miracle.

 

I'm sure my heart stopped at that point.

 

I think they are the best current teams ... third sounds right. Only Bayern and Real are better than us at the moment

 

I have a feeling you will. If you win your last 2 games I think you go through, right? Basel at home and that pub side away are winnable games though Basel will be tricky, especially with your current form.

Certainly more chance than City..... Arsenal will go through and get knocked out last 16 like most years.

 

The Best Club? The Second, Third , Fourth etc Best club? Is all subjective isn't it. Best by all criteria? No way. I vote with my ermmmm paws.
