That is pretty accurate. With United's squad depth, can see another 85-90 point season next year. City and chelsea are going to have to improve remarkably to stop 21

Do you reckon Mourinho would be enough to stop us? And who would he have to bring in to do so?

No. But I reckon he could get us up to the 80-85 point bracket with a couple of signings. Taking Unitd and city in his first season back may be beyond even him though. Would expect at least a challenge and some fun mind games.

We need an Alonso type and two more forward - winger and striker

No way Oberon, Bayern were made to look ordinary by a very determined Chelsea side whose time and moment had arrived. As to standing out against 'fading marquee clubs' and we are talking about the same club that embarrassed you in two finals <laugh><laugh>

Great stuff from a bloke that claimed Chelsea had never beaten a Milan side?? Oh dear <doh> If I were you I'd take a reality check son you're making yourself look a complete knob end as usual.<ok>

Well IF we win our remaining games, we end up on 77. That's not too shabby when you consider we're in transition, and a decent title challenge is high 80s with 90 basically winning it. A 13 point improvement is not so big, especially if you consider the number of leads we have thrown away this season.

Also keep in mind we went from 79 to a whopping 95 back in 04/05, when Jose arrived with a ready made nucleus of a great team needing only one or two additions in Essen and Drogba. The same could certainly repeat itself.
